The Lizard Centre is recognised as a leading provider of services for children with autism and related disorders. Access to research-based programs such as ABA services has been limited in the areas outside major metropolitan centres due to a shortage of service providers.

Lizard currently provides outreach services for families across Australia, including those in rural and regional areas. Families no longer need to relocate in order to provide their child with the best possible early intervention.

There are several models of service delivery:
  • Intensive Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Programs for children who can attend the Chatswood Clinic once a month, whilst receiving the bulk of their therapy at home.

  • Intensive ABA Programs for groups of at least six children located within any geographical central point at which Senior Supervisory and Therapy staff can conduct assessments and clinic meetings.

  • Behaviour Consultations using distance technology such as phone and video conferencing, web cam and video footage, may be available if appropriate.

  • Training workshops for parents and professionals can be arranged in any location around Australia. (Please refer to our Training page )
